  Ugh. Recycled Slayer riffs. Totally disappointing for me, although I have to say there were some chunks of it here and there that I enjoyed. Over all, I felt annoyed by the generic thrash metal-ness of it. The drummer might as well have been a drum machine, since his parts were so unimaginative and the tones so artificial.         i'm with bobby. when i need slayer i reach for "Hell Awaits". come to think of it, i never reach for "Zoon"
        
        
        ........and the production? i can only think of a couple of bands that can pull off turning everything into the red, and this was not one of them.
