According to my sources (the Dead But Dreaming List), FOTN is just Carl, and no one else. Not even other members of a band like on Zoon. It's the Carl McCoy solo project, called FOTN.

Though technically, the agreement that was made upon their breakup in '90 was that the FoTN name would not be used unless there were 3 or more original members. I don't know how they've worked it out, but I hear the Wrights and Tony Petit aren't too happy.

On the upside, it's now popular opinion from those that have heard the album that it's an album made for the fans, and not some shot at stardom or something. That it's a lot like the older FoTN, and Carl isn't gonna find himself cracking the top 10 or anything. And people say it's pretty good. I'll reserve judgement till I have it in my hot little hands.
